AVR 77

Avid Video Resolution 77 is the top quality available on most older Avid edit systems and is used when capturing component analogue sources such as Betacam SP. It is considered to be of broadcast quality and was used extensively thoughout the late 1990s. It eats disc space at a rate of approx 10mb per second (DVcam = 3.5mb per second, Digital Betacam = 25mb per second).
