iPod/iPhone

The Apple iPod is now able to store and play video in colour on it's screen and output to a TV or monitor. The videos have to encoded in a particular format to play on this device.

The iPhone and the iPod Touch have a screen that is neither 16:9 widescreen or 4:3 standard, and movies or Podcasts encoded for these devices need to be 'letterboxed' and/or 'pillarboxed' to present correctly on these screens.
